Those present are: Cindy Huddleston, Jan Sallee, MaryAnn Novak, April and Husband, Eddie Goddard, Ian Russell, and Julie Mitchel
Fund Raising—Trash Bag sales are ongoing. We are selling them for $9.00 per roll with a profit of $2.75 @110 rolls these have been sponsored by the Heritage Lake Clean up committee. We decided to order another 100 rolls. The cost to us is $6.25 Cindy, Jan and Mary Ann are sponsoring us. Decision was made to sell trash bags during the Heritage Lake Garage Sales, Eddie and Mary Ann volunteered to do this. We decided to have trash bags for sale during the Snack - Shack event. Jan is taking care of sending Thank Yous to H.L clean up committee and Harold for all their support. Jan shared the PNC is going to send $100 dollars to Kids Count!!!! Ian is handling a car wash Sept. 11, at the Groveland gas station. Donation request letter is being taken care of by Cindy.
Ian said that he is connected with a friend that is able to provide Kids with hot dogs for next year’s cook out. He works with/for Center Plate Catering (Gordon’s).
Another idea for fundraising is Mother-Daughter/Father-Son function.
Pie Grant and other Grants for funds.
Advertising/promotion: Flyers are being designed. We are checking on pricing from Wilson’s, Off Set Printing, and Harold for best deal.
Programs: Julie shared that it would be great if we could come up with ideas for middle school kids
Levels to conquer to go on to next phase—water activities…….relays?? Check on insurance for water activities.
Ian shared that he has talked to a gentleman that would do reptile program. Mon. & Thurs.
MaryAnn could help with crafts all week.
